Can I watch my friends/family from the monitors or control room?
Quick Answer
Sorry, but no spectators in mission control! Our control room is off-limits to non-participants. We can't have you back there distracting our Game Masters who are busy making sure everyone has an amazing experience, and besides, you might accidentally see other groups in other rooms - talk about spoilers and privacy violations! Plus, our insurance company would have a field day, and we've got some super-secret escape room magic that we can't reveal. Trust us, it's more fun to be in the room with them anyway!
Detailed Information
Why We Can't Allow Control Room Access:
Game Master Focus:
- Our Game Masters need to concentrate on providing hints and ensuring safety
- Distractions can impact the quality of experience for your group and others
- Game Masters are monitoring multiple aspects of the game simultaneously
Privacy Concerns:
- Multiple rooms are monitored from the same control area
- Other guests have a reasonable expectation of privacy during their experience
- We must protect all participants' privacy, not just your group's
Insurance & Liability:
- Our insurance coverage specifically excludes non-staff from operational areas
- Control rooms contain sensitive equipment and emergency controls
- Liability issues arise from having non-participants in restricted areas
Trade Secrets & Intellectual Property:
- Control rooms contain proprietary information about puzzle mechanisms
- Viewing how puzzles work from behind the scenes ruins future experiences
- Our unique game designs and operations are protected business assets
Better Alternatives:
- Wait in our comfortable lobby area
- Join the group as a participant for the full experience
- Celebrate with them after their escape attempt
- View photos taken after the game
We understand you want to share in the experience, but the best way is to be in the room with them!
