Escape Tech Enterprises, Inc. (“Escape Tech”, “we”, “us”) operates escape room venues in Salem, Oregon and the website escapetech.rocks. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

What we collect

When you book with us we collect your name, email address, phone number, and payment details (processed by our booking and payment providers; we do not store full card numbers). Our website also uses cookies and similar technologies that record how the site is used: the pages you view, your browser and device type, your IP address, and, if you arrive from one of our ads, the click identifier the ad platform adds to the link.

How we use it

We use your information to operate your booking (confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, and responses to your questions), to run our business, and to measure how well our website and advertising are working. We do not sell your personal information.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. We also use advertising tools from X (formerly Twitter) and Microsoft Advertising. They record visits and booking activity so we can see whether our ads lead to bookings.

When you book, we send X a record of the purchase so it can be matched to an ad: the booking reference and total, the experience and number of players, the ad click identifier if there is one, your IP address, and hashed (one-way scrambled) versions of your email address and phone number. We do not send X your name, your payment details, or your email address or phone number in readable form.

These companies handle this information under their own privacy policies. If you have an X account, you can adjust how X uses information like this for advertising in your X privacy settings. Blocking cookies in your browser limits what our website collects.

Text messaging

If you opt in to text messages, we send only booking-related messages (confirmations, reminders, and replies to your questions). Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
