Frequently Asked Questions
COVID-19 Questions
Are you open during COVID?
Yes. All major surfaces are sanitized after each use, and common areas are regularly disinfected. Staff will be wearing masks and we are modifying physical distances. We will update this page with any new developments.
Are masks or face coverings currently required?
The Oregon governor, Kate Brown, announced a state-wide mandate on 7/1/2020 requiring face coverings for anyone five years of age or older in order for any Oregon business to legally operate. Masks are currently required for both staff and guests for any on-site physical escape room experience.
Remote / Virtual Experiences
How do remote escape room experiences work?
You'll receive an emailed Zoom link for your group as well as a printable map of the room with your confirmation email. Your group will be greeted by two of our staff to get orientated with the room, go over rules, and how the game is played. You'll be able to interact with the staff members to control what and how you see the room, ask for clues, and perform tasks.
Are they really fun?
Yes. We have had many positive reviews from people that have been through our remote rooms. Please see our Google reviews for yourself!
How many people can participate in a remote escape room?
Fifteen (15), however we recommend no more than seven (7) connections. Ideally, you use 3-4 iPads, tablets, or desktop computers with a microphone and camera for the best experience but even phones will work. While you can have more than seven, you'll need to understand and accept that your experience may be degraded with more than seven connections, as people tend to start talking over each other. It also helps to establish designated people that speak on behalf of others for larger groups.
Are remote rooms for large groups available?
We can help you book multiple room(s) that run back-to-back. Each room is $139 regardless of the number of connections, however see our previous note above for recommended limits. Please call or email us and we'll set this up for you. It involves creating custom booking windows (dates/times) that work for you so you can book from this website. Each room needs 15 minutes between bookings. See the next note below for available rooms.
How many remote rooms are available?
Three of our rooms work as both physical and remote rooms.
What happens if everyone or the hosts get disconnected during a remote room?
We will pause the game for up to five minutes as we reestablish the connection. After five minutes, a full refund will be issued if the connection cannot be reestablished.
What happens if we have some people late or that have connection issues?
We will try to accommodate you as best we can, however we may require that the game still start on time even if not all participants are ready.
Where is my Zoom link?
It's at the top of your confirmation email. If you do not see one, please call or email us.
General Questions
How do you accommodate extremely large groups?
We have three rooms and can run them all at the same time concurrently and can run them throughout the day. This allows us to support about 100 people per day. Each physical room supports up to six (6) people and each remote room supports up to fifteen (15) people. Please email or call us to set up a special schedule for you group.
Why can't I book a reservation right now?
Reservations must be placed in advance to ensure a staff member is available for your booking time, a room is available and not currently being serviced. On occasion, we may be able to provide a room immediately so feel free to call us or walk in and inquire but in general, you can expect to book at least 6 hours in advance.
Can I see an image of what the rooms look like?
Yes. Most of the images at the top of every page on this site were taken at our facilities and in our rooms.
Do you facilitate special requests?

Yes, and you must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian if under the age of 18.
Are babies, toddlers and very young children allowed in the rooms?
Yes, so long as they are held by an adult during the entire time if under 7 years old. We must ask them to exit the room if this is not possible and may wait in the lobby with an adult. Some rooms contain small parts and may be dark at times so this is a safety issue.

You may cancel a reservation at any time for a full refund so long as at least 48 hours notice is provided from the time your room is scheduled. Please email us if you need to cancel a reservation and be issued a full refund.
What happens if we are late for our reservation?
We'll try to accommodate you as best we can. Staff will need to be available and other bookings may run up against yours so you'll typically have less time to complete the room if you are late, so you'll definitely want to arrive 15 min early.
Do I need to provide the names of every peron in a group in order to book a room?
No. This optional information helps us contact anyone if necessary, but is not required to book a room.
Why do I need to provide an email and phone number during booking?
The email is where we send a confirmation email with booking details, instructions and terms. The email is also where you can find the link to the downloads and conference info for our remote rooms. The email is not used for any other purpose unless you explicitly opt-in for our newsletter during the booking process. The phone number is only used in case we need to reach you for an issue directly pertaining to your booking.
Do you allow booking per person, or only per room?
Only per room. The entire room is yours and you are only in the room with people in your group.
When booking, it asks for names of participants but what if I don't have this information?
This is fine. Just fill in the info you do know. So long as your group is no larger than 6 people when you arrive for on-site physical rooms, you will be fine. We collect this info in case we need to contact anyone as well as send booking information out. It is not used for any other purpose.
Are waivers required?
Yes. This is a requirement of our insurance provider. You can print them ahead of time from our site or we can give you one when you arrive.
Do you have any on-site physical escape rooms that support more than 6 people?
